- "Can you help her?" Jake asked with plead in his worryfull voice. The she-cat that had taken the injured cat glanced up and didn't say anything. Jake stared down at the she-cat's body and looked away quickly, trying not to cry. Jake stepped out of the small fox-hole and sat down. He whisked his tail over the ground and sighed. The gusty wind blew through Jake's fur, leaving dust tangled inside. Only a little later did the she-cat come out and stand in front of Jake. She barely shook her head and walked off. Jake whisked off into the city, searching for his former mate Jesse.
- Heather peered into the mirror. She wondered why she was still alive. She kicked herself in the leg in frustration. She took a knife and began cutting her wrists. She was surprised when no blood or cut of any kind came out. "WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO DIE?!" She looked back at the mirror and dropped the knife. She rolled her eyes at herself and wondered why everyone she knew got to die besides her. Heather's little sister didn't quite despise her as much when they were sent to live with their grandmother. Heather's sister suddenly came into the room. "What are you crying about now, Heather?"

When she was born, her father hated her so much he began to take alcohol to numb the pain and "accidentally" crashed his car into Heather's bedroom. Her mother didn't even try to cope with Heather's birth and just suicided. Heather's little sister didn't quite despise her as much when they were sent to live with their grandmother. Her grandmother laid in bed the whole time they were there, suffering seemingly random medical accidents and ended up breaking everything you could possibly break. Her grandmother is actually a witch that was cheating death with the price of suffering these things. Heather's sister suddenly came into the room. "What are you crying about now, Heather?" Heather folded her arms; obviously she had not been crying. She kicked the knife she had under the bed steathily. "Do I need to call Dr. Brody again?" Little Lucy sighed. Heather shrugged and nodded. Lucy took out a crumpled piece of paper and handed it to Heather. "You might want to see this. I bet you want to escape from this life for a while." "Free Hair Removal - Call 555-555-RIPOFF today." The paper read. Heather looked at her little sister confusedly. Lucy looked at the paper and blushed. "Sorry." She took out a different piece of paper and handed it to Heather. Heather looked at a advertisement for a reality show titled "Total Drama Island." The prize was said to be one million dollars. Lucy then opened the door and motioned for Heather to leave. Heather began to exit but Lucy stopped her. "How do you plan to win?" The small girl asked. "By being the biggest bitch TV has ever seen." Heather beamed. Lucy smiled back as Heather left to go audition for the show. "...She's so not winning." Lucy muttered after she left.
