Charles "Charlie" Mathys (June 20, 1897 - January, 1983) was an American football player, born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, who played running back for one season for the Hammond Pros and five seasons for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League. He played college football at Ripon College and Indiana University. He is in both the Green bay Packer and the Indiana Hoosiers hall of fame. One of the things he is most remembered for is being the quarterback on the first Packer team to ever beat the Bears.(September 27, 1925) Charlie threw a last second touchdown pass to win the game 14-10.
