He was taken prisoner and lined up along with other Assassins to be executed by Haras in an attempt to make the Assassin Mentor Al Mualim reveal the location of an Apple of Eden. However, he was rescued when Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad killed Haras and drove the Crusaders away from the fortress.
