Torpedo Bombers are bombers that, as the name hints, drop torpedoes. As would be expected, they can only target naval units, such as boats and submarines. Hover units are unable to be hit by their attacks. To balance out their limited target selection, Torpedo bombers possess free sonar, inflict massive damage with their torpedo salvos, and are the only non-naval counter against submarines. The only problem with using them against naval units are their rather sluggish turning speed, implying that they need a larger attack run at their targets than other aircraft.

The only problem with using them against naval units are their rather sluggish turning speed, implying that they need a larger attack run at their targets than other aircraft. They also do, surprisingly, the same amount of damage. In fact, except for the Aeon T3 torpedo bomber, all torpedo bombers are practically identical save for factors such as speed and appearance.
