Mr. Ford was the husband of Mary Ford, the two of them had a child together named James. When his wife had an affair with a con man named Tom Sawyer, and provided him with all of her husband’s money, Mr. Ford returned to his home one night in a rage filled state. As he pounded furiously on the door for his wife to let him in, he eventually broke the door down and entered with a gun in his hand, and shot his wife when she attempted to call the police for help. He walked into his son’s room, reloaded the gun, and killed himself on young James’ bed.
