  • Below are some of the locations used for filming throughout the Final Destination franchise. With the exception of The Final Destination, which was filmed in New Orleans, the majority of the franchise has been made in the Greater Vancouver Area in British Columbia, Canada. Since 1999, the franchise has consistently chosen Vancouver, British Columbia and the larger surrounding area, such as Victoria, Campbell River on Vancouver Island, or Burnaby and Ladner just outside of Vancouver proper to undergo principle photography. Like many other film and television programs, Vancouver's ability to disguise itself as many international locales, with the added benefit of tax subsidies and the exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollar has been a major influence to shoot in Vancouver.
