After the United States of Earth becomes the Earth's only viable political power in the 22nd century, standards for labelling clothing become in vogue again. However, people have been losing weight due to the near-global ban on television; Puerto Rico continues to make TV legal in the year 2105 along with parts of the Eurasian Union and Japan. Clothing companies had to compensate for the lack of obesity by adjusting their clothing sizes. Life in the 22nd century had become independent of obesity-creating objects like automobiles, televisions and what we would consider to be "junk food" in the year 2013. A society that doesn't use television puts an added moral emphasis on being physically active, regardless of geographic location or population density.

  • After the United States of Earth becomes the Earth's only viable political power in the 22nd century, standards for labelling clothing become in vogue again. Restaurants like Taco Bell, McDonald's and Pizza Hut Bistro are fighting the bad reputation that they had in the 20th and early 21st centuries by offering a completely healthy menu that is 100% diabetic friendly. They also realize that obese people create a larger carbon footprint than regular people; thus contributing to global warming and sea level rise.
