Same D. Kasumi, AKA "Blue Hair Kasumi" is Captain of the Blue Haired Pirates. She is the daughter of the pirate captain Same D. Cynthia and was a former Marine who left the organization due to the cruel practice of other marines, corruption by her higher ups and eventually lost faith in the World Government altogether. She would go on to abandon the Marines only to resurface as a pirate starting off on a low-brow crime career. Her most noticeable features are her long blue hair, and, later on, platinum canine teeth she recieved due to fights where she lost her original ones. But her most notable personality trait is a sense of justice and regard for others, whether they are people, animals or even objects and places with sentimental attachment to either her or someone else.

At the end of part one her and the other members of the Blue Haired Pirates seperate. They eventually reunite at the begining of part two. By this time Kasumi and the others have matured and make the unanimous decision for the Blue Haired Pirates to Join Dragon's Revolutionaries.
