abstract	Kal Joreth was a a skilled soldier and dedicated individual, originating from the planet New Plympto. At a young age he joined the Galactic Empire and became a decorative soldier in its ranks, attaining the position of a commando in the Empire's Special Operations branch. There he was was recognized for his combat prowess and his dedication to the Empire. However, with the death of Palpatine and Vader above the forest moon of Endor, Kal found himself at a loss for loyalties. The Empire tore itself apart faster than it built itself up, and with that he left his service with the intention of finding his own way in the galaxy. He was approached by a Mandalorian named Bevin Orar that same year and, recognizing his extensive abilities as a soldier, recruited him into the Blood Sentinels. It was at this point Kal began to receive his training as a Mandalorian, and later lay claim to the status of a Supercommando. Kal saw much battle during his time as a Sentinel over the next three years. However, on one mission, the Blood Sentinels faced an embarrassing defeat. Temporarily hindered by this negative outlook on their record, Bevin and Kal instead sought out several new members, before ending up on the payroll of the Shadow Imperium. During the Hapes Insurrection, Kal followed Bevin and the rest of the Sentinels in declaring allegiance to Darth Trayus and his Crimson Empire. He played a pivotal role in the their plans for the Hapes Consortium, being one of the point forerunners of their guerrilla combat tactics during the rebellion. However, despite his and his comrades' best efforts, their plans ultimately failed due to the intervention of Arien Garix, and after a debrief they returned to Testria to await further orders. After Darth Trayus's assault on Ossus, and Darth Invictus's waging of war against Darth Malice, the Blood Sentinels split away from the Crimson Empire, and were officially disbanded. Kal ventured on his own and became a mercenary for hire. One of his notable jobs landed him on Nar Shaddaa to run an operation against Kroda the Hutt.
