Despara is a alien from space with a vendetta against former Power Ranger Drew Hale. Her vendetta came from 2009, when she tried to destroy planet Aquatar and the aliens that live there, including Drew, who was human. Her plan failed when the alien rangers and Drew destroyed her spacecraft. In 2014, Drew, now 30 years old, and on Earth mentoring the Megaforce Power Rangers (in which his niece, Kelly, serves as the Yellow Ranger) was shocked that Despara has returned to get revenge on him. She used former yellow ranger Inga from the Samurai Power Rangers, and her samurai abilities to destroy him. But Megaforce Silver Ranger Heather Merrill, a 15-year-old, began to suspect Despara's plan and was almost destroyed to keep her mouth shut. She saves Inga from Despara's control.
