William Henry Ecroyd (17 August 1865 – 31 December 1937) Born in Bermondsey, he was the son of Henry Ecroyd, leather manufacturer and his wife Julia née Patten. Progressive Party member of the London County Council 1910-19 for Southwark (Bermondsey). Also represented Bermondsey Board of Guardians on the Metropolitan Asylums Board.
