Jake describes his father's gatecrashing of Sarah's first hang out with a boy "Not Cool Dad." He is seen in the hospital scene, playing cards with the Murtaughs as he waits for Nora to have her baby. He seems to hang out with Sarah Mike and Eliot Murtaugh. He is still seen on his skateboard but not as much as in the first film. He and his sister Jessica don't fight like they did in the first movie. For the summer games, Jake does the three-legged race with Mike and participates in the volleyball game and was supposed to do water skiing. Jake is a sporty boy and is usually seen holding an "E" on we love the coach banner. Jake Baker is portrayed in both films by Jacob Smith.
