Virtually nothing else is known about this species except that two members of it once returned in time to the 24th century to witness Captain Jean-Luc Picard's archaeological discovery of the Tox Uthat, a powerful weapon developed by another time traveler (presumably of a different species) which had been hidden on Risa sometime during the 22nd century. The Vorgons attempt to steal the Tox Uthat at first, but when Picard intentionally destroys the device, they claim that he now fulfilled his role in history and disappear back to their own time.

- The Vorgons are a humanoid race, capable of time travel by the 27th century. Vorgon criminals Ajur and Boratus travelled to various points in time to steal the Tox Uthat, a powerful quantum phase inhibitor able to stop all fusion within a star. The Vorgon fleet, from the 27th century, got involved with the Temporal Cold War in the 29th century, by time-jumping to this future period. They allied themselves with Starfleet in this time and helped to fight the Na'kuhl. (Star Trek: Phoenix-X: "Temporal Doom! Part II")
- By the 27th century, the Vorgons had developed the ability to time travel. Two criminals, Ajur and Boratus, used this technology in an attempt to steal the Tox Uthat, but were foiled. (TNG episode: "Captain's Holiday", DTI novel: Watching the Clock)
- The Vorgons were a humanoid race who, by the 27th century, had developed the ability to travel through time.
- Les Vorgons étaient une espèce humanoïde rencontrée par Starfleet au 24ème siècle.
