Weather/environmental conditions have a huge impact on how long bubbles last and how large you can make them. Even with great bubble juice and a great wand, your bubbles might be limited by the conditions. Cool temperatures with good humidity are necessary for some of the really giant bubbles that you see on the wiki. Read more about the conditions that affect bubbling. Simple tri-wand projects. All you need to make a tri-string are a couple of sticks for handles and some string or cord to use as a wick. * Edward's Simple Tri-string overview. Some general instructions for making a first tri-string. This video which we found on YouTube is well-made and has some good tips, but it also makes some recommendations with which we disagree. Overall it provides a nice overview, but I recommend taking a look at our recommendations about wick materials and recipes. The video's recipe will work pretty well (though it would be improved by using less detergent and adding some baking powder), and requires an ingredient that you will probably need to order. Our guar-based bubble juice recipe makes use of ingredients that you generally can find locally. I would also not recommend using a weight on your wand.
