| - a type of ooze
- An ochre jelly can flow under doors. Due to its unusual body chemistry, it has no need to breathe. It has no eyes, and is therefore impervious to gaze and blindness attacks. It has no mind, and is therefore not detectable via telepathy. An ochre jelly has no limbs and no head. It cannot pick up objects. It is acidic if eaten. Ochre jellies attack by engulfing, and have a dangerous passive acid splash when attacked in melee. They can corrode iron or copper objects.

- Ochre Jelly (オーカージェリー, Ōkā Jerī)? is a demon in the series.
- Ochre Jelly is a creature that was introduced in the Lowdown in Highport article/adventure by Thomas M. Reid in Dungeon #221. It was added as an alternative to the creature of the same name from the original adventure. [Du221:21]
- The Ochre Jelly, also known as the Ooze in the NES version, is an enemy in the original Final Fantasy. They are weak to Fire and Ice-based spells, so use Blizzara or Fira to mop up a whole group of them, although physical attacks also work well. Do not use Lightning attacks, because the Ochre Jelly will absorb it. It is a rare enemy, only appearing in the third, fourth, or fifth basement of the Cavern of Earth. They appear in groups and are not tough, but they may catch a party off guard if the HP level of their offensive mages is diminished.
- Ochre Jellies are a variety of slime. They are found in sewers and dungeons. They are immune to backstab and missile damage and resistant to cold, electricity, and magic. They are vulnerable to fire, acid, slashing, crushing, and piercing damage.
- Ochre jellies are monsters in ADOM. The most notable property of an ochre jelly is that it is covered in acid. If attacked with a weapon that is neither an artifact nor made of stone or eternium, the weapon will corrode - meaning its base to-hit and damage will decrease. The weapon may also end up being destroyed if it is corroded too many times. If the PC attacks one unarmed and does not have acid resistance, either the PC's gauntlets will be damaged or destroyed (if the PC is wearing a pair gauntlets that is neither an artifact or alchemistic gloves), or the PC will take damage (if he/she isn't wearing gauntlets). The same applies to PCs and their boots when kicking them. Interestingly, even the PC's gauntlets and boots will survive unarmed melee attacks if the PC has at least one count
