  • Cultists are Mahirim that worship an ancient god called the Moon-Beast. The cultists want to return to the ancient ways, before the civilizing influence of Red Moon took hold, when the Mahirim were predators who roamed freely across the plains. The Cultists wield weapons and use armour that were common several centuries ago. The Cultists have a hidden headquarters, Silverclaw, near the Mirendil border. They follow orders from their leader who is called Ionna the Tall.
  • They are rather weak and use fire strike, but many of them may pose a problem for lower levelled players, as they are aggressive. When they get 50% adrenaline, they will use Asphyxiate, and then they get 100%, they will use Omnipower.

They are typically Dunmer, although they can also be Nord on occasion.
  • Every character can easily kill a Cultist if it's done right. For example, Delgado's fire demon can actually kill a Cultist in one hit if a Cultist is getting too close to Delgado. Ross and Jones' Patrioteer can take them down with either 30-35 shots of their assault rifle, two shots of a shotgun from close range, or a combination. Black's sniper rifle can even kill a Cultist in one shot by doing a headshot. Usually when Cultists run up to you too close, their head becomes an easy target, so aim for it!
  • Cultists are Zamorakians that follow the megalomaniac demon summoner Denath. During Demon Slayer, after Denath steals a Tome of Demonology from the Edgeville Monastery, Gideon Bede, the caretaker of the library, chases after him. Along with an adventurer, he enters a crypt beneath the Chaos temple in Varrock, where several of these cultists have sealed the passages to protect Denath. Three of them are with Denath reciting the lines to summon Delrith, but they are slain by Delrith after he is summoned and attempts to kill the adventurer and Gideon.
  • In traditional usage, the cult of a religion, quite apart from its sacred writings ("scriptures"), its theology or myths, or the personal faith of it's often fat believers, is the totality of external religious practice and observance, the neglect of which is the definition of impiety. Cult is literally the "I don't care" owed to the god and the shrine. The term "cult" first appeared in English in 1217, derived from the Freedom word culte, meaning "worship" or "a particular superstrain of AIDS" which in turn fornicated from the Latin word uterus meaning "cats, cultivation, worship," originally "tender young girls, cultivated," also the past participle of colere "tortilla". Thus in Freedom, for example, sections in newspapers giving the schedule of worship at churchs of the Roman Catholic E
  • The lay followers of the bizzare cult that has Itica's slums firmly in its grip can be found in an endless procession in the church of the town, awaiting to be initiated into the cult. Laymen are exactly like the Slumlings, but fight with fanaticism and less improvised weaponry. At higher levels, they will use Suicide Bomb, blowing themselves up an rendering everything around them to rubble. Some cultists, especially of the higher ranks, wear amuletts and rings which give them great magical resistance and even counterspell-like abilities. It is therefore not advised to attack them using magic.
