The Scotsman's Skullcutter is a community-made melee weapon for the Demoman. It is a bloodied battle-axe with a wooden shaft and spiked crossguard. It has a 20% damage bonus which is valuable in combat. As a drawback, the user has a 15% speed penalty when they equip it, making it less suitable for chasing down enemys. This weapon used to have a No Random Critical Hits statistic, but this was switched to the current 15% speed penalty. Because of the higher damage, this weapon pairs well with the Charge n' Targe because of the guarenteed critical hits when chargeing, a single critical hit can kill all classes except for the Heavy assuming they are not overhealed. If a user strickes one critical hit on a heavy, another hit is required to kill them with no overheal.
