Synopsis
  • A weakened Ghost Rider (Zero Cochrane) fights Vengeance outside of the Bar Code, while, inside of the Bar Code, Kabal fights Anesthesia Jones. In each fight, both Vengeance and Kabal have the upper hand and are just about to slay their opponents when outside help steps in to rescue each of them. For Ghost Rider, that outside help is SHIELD. After the rescue, both Ghost Rider and SHIELD express their mutual resentment of one another and Ghost Rider angrily quits his job in law enforcement and vows to bring powerful, corrupt people and organizations to justice, including SHIELD. Anesthesia Jones is rescued from Kabal by Kylie Gagarin, though Anesthesia Jones suspects Kabal has more up his sleeves.
  • Professional assassins disguised as SHIELD agents raid Killer Babes and attack Heartbreaker in front of Willis Adams. Heartbreaker makes short work of them, revealing her superhuman ability to make men see her as their heart's desire. Heartbreaker then tells Mr. Adams that she was the one who hired the assassins to create a sort of deadly performance art, explaining "That was my act! *sigh* I love show business."
