- Ernie worked on the security detail for Frank Lopez, but after Tony Montana, Manny Ribera, and Chi-Chi kill Frank and Mel Bernstein, Tony offers him a similar job in his newly established Montana Cartel. Working for Tony proves to be a similar experience to working for Frank. He drives the car, opens the door and does the odd jobs. During the intense scene where he witnesses the killing of Frank and Mel, he nervously looks at Tony and Manny, unsure of his survival swiging a bottle of JD whiskey, Tony comments casually, "You want a job, Ernie?" indicating that because Ernie was not in Frank's good graces, he was no threat to Tony's power. After Tony and Alejandro Sosa become enemies, Sosa sends assassins to Tony's island where Ernie is killed. He was garroted to death by some of Sosa's men.
- Ernie was the owner of the Angel Grove Juice Bar and Youth Center, the most popular hang out spot for teens in the area, and later Ernie's in San Orlando, Mexico. Ernie was around to lend a helping hand or advice to various characters, and was also a fan of the Power Rangers.

- Ernest Dolmio Cunnowski (26 September 1969 - 4 September 2007) was the son of a poor Polish rubber duck farmer. Ernie as he is known to his friends is renowned singer, bather and children's television star, although most people think he's a bit of a Muppet. Throughout his life Ernie has been plagued by rubber ducky addiction, although with help from good friend and room mate of questionable sexual status Bert, he has been able to manage the addiction, and still occasionally makes public appearances.

- Ernie, by Dave Follows, was a three panel humour strip which ran in the Eagle in the early 1980's. Ernie himself was effectively the revived Eagle's mascot. He was a pigeon in a flying helmet. That's about it, really...
- Ernie is a character featured in Fable II. He is briefly encountered during Childhood, in which he shouts out "I'll take it!" when Murgo the Trader offers a magical mirror. The mark that is supposed to be only visible to other believers. In Apollyon, Bo, a non-believer, told Ernie to wipe a smudge off his forehead. Rayford noticed this and immediately confronted Ernie about it. Rayford realized that the mark was a fake. Ernie suffered from the locust plague and was killed during the attack of the 200 million horsemen.

- Ernie is a veteran of the United States of America military. He fought in World War II. His life and the lives of two others were saved by a man named Duke. After fifty years, the three men Duke had saved got together and went to the cemetery where Duke was buried. They dressed in the military uniforms and went out on a breezy day. Ernie thought that maybe the man he knew was this man's father. They tell him to take care and left to the bistro.
- Ernie (not to be confused with the retarded puppet from Sesame Street) is the owner of the Juice Bar. Everytime he sees Bulk and Skull bringing something with them (pigs, goats, Chocolate Pudding, Weegee, etc.) he would exclaim "YOU GUYS CAN"T BRING THIS ______ IN HERE!!!", but they're suck badasses, they never listen. After that each would turn into a monster. (like Norman the Pig did; into Pudgy Pig.)
