Artists who frequently work on sprites with other Crayon Box members and participate in the DC-related discussion are often referred to as 'Crayons.' The name comes from a nickname the site artist gave the artists, citing the wisdom of a crayonbox as a metaphor for co-existence. Crayons of all colors exist side by side in the same box, and do not begrudge each other their differences.
