The Emergency Management Response System is used to manage investigations of outbreaks of animal diseases in the United States. This Web-based task management system was designed to automate many of the tasks that are routinely associated with disease outbreaks and animal emergencies. The system is used for routine reporting of foreign investigations of animal disease, state-specific disease outbreaks or control programs, national responses, or natural disasters involving animals.
