John Patrick Thomson (born April 2, 1969) is an English comedian and actor who plays Darius in the film adaptation of Cornelia Funke's Inkheart.

His appearances in several recurring roles in television series included: Ken in Men Behaving Badly, Eddie Ryan in Playing the Field, Pete Gifford in Cold Feet, Charlie Darling in New Street Law and Nigel Pearson in Kingdom. He further played H.V. "Harry" Kershaw in the 2010 fiftieth anniversary drama The Road to Coronation Street.
