The Catherby Crisis was a major scare to Asgarnia and an almost-war. In 137, for unknown reasons, Kandarin reinforced Catherby and Western White Wolf Mountain with thousands of combat-ready soldiers. Asgarnia responded by mobilizing the marines to reinforce Taverley in turn. It was a major stand-off until Kandarin attacked Taverley, and was fought back after a few days. Afterwards, the stand-off continued for a few more weeks until Kandarin pulled their troops. Asgarnia did the same. This heavily damaged Asgarnia's relations to Kandarin.
