The current Imperial Armed Forces were established in 3341, celebrated on "Armed Forces Day". The Imperial Armed Forces are considered by Gath Defense Collective to be one of the largest, most powerful military forces within the world. The Imperial Armed Forces is comprised of three branches (Imperial Army (Indrala), Imperial Navy (Indrala) and the Imperial Air Force (Indrala)) and two, independent branches (Imperial Guard of Indrala and the 14th Artillery Division (Indrala)). The Imperial Armed Forces are considered by Gath Defense Collective to be one of the largest, most powerful military forces within the world. The Imperial Armed Forces is comprised of three branches (Imperial Army (Indrala), Imperial Navy (Indrala) and the Imperial Air Force (Indrala)) and two, independent branches (Imperial Guard of Indrala and the 14th Artillery Division (Indrala)). The Imperial Army of Indrala is one of the largest standing armies in the world and the Indralan Navy has become one of the worlds few blue-water navies according to defense reports. The Imperial Guards are responsible for VIP protection and act as the praetorian guard of the Emperor and the Imperial court. The 14th Artillery Division is responsible for the management of Indrala's nuclear arsenal, though it does not technically have the status of an independent branch it has it's own General Staff Department to manage itself. The Minister of the Guards, who leads the Imperial Guards is technically the Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Armed Forces while the Grand Commandant is the equivalent of the Minister of Defense. The Chief of the Imperial Armed Forces General Staff Department is the day-to-day leader of the Imperial Armed Forces and technically the most powerful military officer, currently 1st Class General Bai Xue Jiang is the Chief of the IAF General Staff Department. Indrala, alongside Trigunia and Lodamun is one of the leading military equipment exporters in the world due to the fact that the Indralan's often sell their equipment at cheap prices and are easy to maintain.
