Domestic savannah buffaloes are descended from cape buffaloes that were domesticated by Maverick Hunters because of their meat, milk, and fur. They are much less aggressive than their ancestors. They need grass, leaves, and shrubs to keep them healthy. There are more than 1,055 breeds of domestic savannah buffaloes around the world.
