HistoryText	As a child Ben and Vance Reilly would always spend time together. He would always tell him about his mother, and how her beauty overcame him. But it was a sad day when she died, he said that giving birth to Vance killed her. As the years passed Vance learned of his father's identity as the Scarlet Spider. At nights Vance would take the suit and go on patrol. Every time his father read the news he was so proud to see a hero like Scarlet Spider was protecting their city. The day came when he was going to tell his dad that he was the new Scarlet Spider, but he was destroyed when his father died by a robber's hand. After the death of his father he was left alone to wander the streets. He left the suit on top of his gravestone, leaving the past behind, only to look for the future. He made a new costume and changed his name to the Crimson Arachnid. He helped the city during the nights and kept it safe from evil. Unfortunately, everyone saw him as a vigilante. He would get in trouble with the police, and got no thanks for saving the day. And things just got worse when Spider-Web returned. He would get on his tail 24/7. They would battle through the streets, through the air, even on top of buildings. Finally, it was time for Spider-Web to end their fight. He followed him all the way back to his old house, only to find that he was the son of Ben Reilly, his Uncle Ben. The next time he saw him he explained to the police how he was trying to do good, but is only assumed to be a criminal. He told Vance about an organization that could help him out with the good guy thing. That day was when he joined the Shield Avengers. He was then known as a good guy from then on.
