| - Blee'starn was a city located on an island in the planet's eastern hemisphere. Blee'starn is now the home of Bothawui's Air Defense control. Huge tracts of air defense batteries cover the island, hooked up to numerous satelites and sensor posts. Missile batteries, augment heavy Quad Laser Cannons, flak guns, and flechette emplacements. The military entirely runs the island, and large amounts of soldiers are stationed there.
- The base of the Bothan spy-net, Bothawui is a clean, mountainous, forested and cosmopolitan planet. Streets in the major cities are clean and wide, and lined with tall buildings built of a natural glittering stone. This well-organized world has always been considered neutral territory, since it has been an active hub for operatives of every stripe. Although they have much to offer the galaxy, Bothans are probably most well-known for their intrepid spies.

- Bothawui fue un planeta rodeado por un anillo de asteroides localizado en el Borde Medio. Varios de los instructores que enseñaron a Wilhuff Tarkin a pilotar naves eran originarios de este mundo, a pesar de la gran distancia entre él y el planeta Eriadu, donde Tarkin vivía. The planet is home to both industry and grain farms. The planet is mined for indigenous ores such as lidium.
- Bothawui was the third planet from the star Both in the Bothan system, located in the Bothan sector of the Mid Rim region of the galaxy at the intersection of the Bothan Run, the Kaaga Run, the Manda Merchant Route, and the Reena Trade Route. It was a terrestrial world with a breathable atmosphere, a temperate climate, and three moons. Its terrain consisted of mountains and ridges separated by deep, wide valleys inhabited by dangerous wildlife, as well as plains, forests, and urban areas. The planet had a rotational period of 27 standard hours and an orbital period of 351 local days, and a diameter of 9,000 kilometers.
- Bothawui has seen much turmoil since the establishment of the Empire. Bothan society has made increasing use of military technology as successive regimes tried to bully or control the commercial and intel assets of the Bothan people. In the early days, before the Empire and after, Bothawui sent out colony ships to various worlds, establishing satellite societies that relied upon Bothan goods and allowed the Bothans to ensure their economy would continue even when events in the wider galaxy forced them to become insular.
