  • The Confederate Civil War began when rebels under the command of the self-proclaimed President Jiran Kort tried to take over the Black Star Confederacy. Though they failed to take complete control, they did take control of eight of the eleven provinces, only Rezna, Kadir and Xersia remaining loyal. The loyalists made their initial headquarters in the Kadiri System, fighting several smaller battles against the rebels. The Civil War seemed to be destined to go on for years, until the Kartanin Dominion joined the fray at the behest of First Admiral Cosimo. In a matter of days, Kartanin Warfleets swept all resistance before them, annihilating the rebel forces and restoring the rightful rulers.
