Where's Waldo in Hollywood? was released in 1993. In the book Waldo travels to movie and film sets in Hollywood, California, an area where a number of high-budget films are produced. The book was re-releassed as a "Special Edition" version in 1997, moving Waldo and inserting new characters. If one pays close attention, it becomes clear that wherever Waldo was in the original, a new character is in the Special Edition. Fans are not quite sure of the significance of this, but this book is notable for being the only Where's Waldo? book where this is true. Both versions of this book are the only Waldo books to feature a missing Can of Film on every scene which means there are six missing objects on every page when you count the key, camera, scroll, bone and binoculars.
