The monastery is fairly close to a fairy ring (), which can be reached by running east, as well as the Khazard Battlefield Spirit tree, which can be reached by running west, then north. The convenience of the Monastery's location makes the Ardougne Cloak arguably the best easy Achievement Diary reward.
