The series began production in 2008 starting with the pilot episode, Ed, Edd, n Eddy ride the Simpsons ride, by Makeavelli741. spyro105 later made the second episode, Sonic rides The Funtastic World of Hanna Barbara, also known as "Sonic rides THE FUNTASTIC WORLD OF HANNA BARBARA" (shut down), due to the ride closing in 2002. further in the series, Another Youtube video uploder greenth1ng discovered the series. so he decided to to upload an account of the series in 2009. with the episode, YTP: Mario, Sonic, and Friends Ride Jurassic Park River Adventure , introducing Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Dr. Robotnik, Scratch & Grounder from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Later on, in the next episode, "Mario, Sonic, and Friends Ride Twister: Ride it Out!", Ed, Edd & Eddy as Newcomers joined the gang. this is the only episode to introduce Rolf. However, in 2010, in one episode, video game Crash Bandicoot joined the crew and it became even worse when Sonic died at the end of the ride for unknown reasons, so he never appered in the next two episodes until the episode, Mario, Sonic, the Eds, and Friends ride Epcot's Test Track when he was brought back with the team. in early 2011, the series was cancelled when the uploader closed his Youtube account. in May, greenth1ng, now called greencristopher92 reopened his account, and he would bring back the series, introducing Heavy Weapens Guy from Team Fortress 2. sometimes reuploads old episodes by greenth1ng. Once again, he closed his account since his reaction to Jaws ride closing video. Then he came back as "greenth1ngIzBack", and introduced the rest of the TF2 characters (execpt the Pyro) into the group.
