| - Players can hire the demon butler at the Servants' Guild, which is located north of the marketplace in East Ardougne. All five servants wander inside the building except for the servant you have hired (if any). Before hiring any servant, the player must meet three requirements: 1.
* The player must have the required Construction level. 2.
* The player's house must have at least two bedrooms with beds constructed in each one. If one of the beds is removed, then the servant will not become present again until the bed is rebuilt and the player exits and re-enters the house. 3.
* The player must not have a servant already hired. If you wish to hire another servant, you must fire your current servant by talking to them in your house before going to the Servants' Guild.
- Alathazdrar began his trade as a servant to demon nobility; his previous clients include Thammaron and Delrith. However, he claims to have grown tired of "the incessant shadows and hellfire" and as a result departed from the underworld to seek out human employers. Alathazdrar ended up as a member of the Servants' Guild in Ardougne, and is the most accomplished servant for hire there. Alathazdrar can serve curry to players and their guests, take items to and from the bank, take logs to the sawmill in exchange for planks faster than any other servant, and welcome guests (will not un-note bones). He can carry up to 26 items and has a bank time of 7 seconds. Also note that every 8 actions, such as trips to the bank, he will require a payment fee of 10,000 coins. This fee can be paid automatically by having a Servant's moneybag. If using the Oak larder method to level Construction, it is best to have the Demon Butler fetch oak planks when you have 8 planks in your inventory, as he can hold 26 items, you can take another Larder worth from him, and whilst you're making the next larder, he will be back by the time its made, for you to continuously make them. It is also not recommended to drop planks to get the inventory space like with the other servants, since the demon butler evens out your inventory with 25 free spaces, and he is also the quickest servant, so it is not useful to drop them. Note : You must click him once to take the planks from him, and again to have him fetch the planks, you also must click the "Click here to continue" option (or press space) in the last bit of dialogue from him for him to go to the bank.
