The 1963 Turkey Day 200 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Randleman on November 22, 1962. Despite the '62 date, it was part of the '63 season. Jim Paschal won at Petty Enterprises' home track after Glen Wood blew an engine. Wood had led every lap until the engine failure on lap 173, letting Paschal hold off eventual season champ Joe Weatherly by two laps for the victory. Stats
