As of the 2007-08 academic year, Presbyterian is a member of the Big South Conference in NCAA Division I. PC athletics were formerly part of the South Atlantic Conference in NCAA Division II The PC mascot is the Blue Hose or a Scotsman clad in a kilt with blue stockings.
