Markin told Shama that he had found out about it beforehand 9 years before the war, about everything, the war, the clones, order 66, he was the only jedi to not have his visions of the future clouded by the Dark Side. he had also Foreseen several other outcomes. the his force sences told him that this was the best outcome. they managed to escape on using a captured Republic Shuttle and hid on Nar Shadaa After being betrayed by the Republic, Shama did not wish to help rebuild it. instead, he invisioned the Jedi returning to what they should be, the protectors of Peace in the galaxy, instead of the Republics lap-dogs. his vision was to build a great Jedi Nation which had it's own military force similar to what the Sith had. whenever the Sith attacked, they had always won the first attack and managed to push them back, killing countless Jedi before the jedi could mobilise and begin a counter-attack. If they had their own military force, then the sith's first assault would fail. though if the Republic was to return, he wanted the New Jedi Nation and the republic to be allies. Though he was the leader of the Resistance, he did not wish to be the Leader of the New Jedi Nation, he was constantly looking for Master Yoda to lead it, though he never found him before Yoda died. he founded the Jedi Resistance in 13 BBY the Jedi Resistance was not a terribly large force, as such, they kept to attacking small Imperial Freighters, however, when Shama and Ovebi were captured in 1 ABY, they went as far as to attack an imperial Star Destroyer, and in 3 ABY, when they performed a raid on an imperial Shipyard near Sullust, the shipyards defence fleet were on training exercises leaving the shipyards poorly defended, when in the attack, boarding parties were sent out, and they managed to capture a pair of Storm-Commando Escort Carrier's which had been outfitted with experimental Cloaking Shields. in 2 BBY Shama was contacted by Garm Bel Iblis to ask him to sign the Corellian Treaty and join the Rebel Alliance. Shama had no interest in resurrecting the Republic as it had been proven that a Republic didn't work, his words were "the Republic as you know it stood for 1000 years before crumbling, supposing that you succeed, in 1000 years time, this will happen again. the real republic stood for 25000 years and was constantly shifting between Jedi and Sith rule, i refuse to try and save a flawed system of doing things." in 12 BBY disgruntled cloners working on Kamino bred an army of anti-imperial Clones, the cloners also started supplying Clones to any and all Anti-Imperial Factions, Shama was in a meeting with them when they found out that the Galactic Empire had learned of their treachery, and that they were going to strike the cloning facility when the fleet arrived in about a day, they bundled as many Clones onto the Darksaber as they dared, deciding to keep enough behind to make it look as though they were not ready for an uprising, hoping to make the Empire believe that they had killed all of the Rogue Clones. 8500 clones boarded the Darksaber. the Darksaber then went back to the Asteroid and, with help from the Clone Engineers, refits were completed the following year in 11 BBY.
