He then learned about Jazz, one of the main players in the war, and was attracted to him. He saw how full of potential Jazz was and hoped he was going to be a leader like Optimus. It did happen, fortunately. (The war mostly took place on other planets, because the Decepticons left it for dead early on after the planet's Energon ran out ((or they'd be underground, and not so much above it)) He was one of the warden's helpers in a Prison where thieves and liars like Runaway and Dirtbag were. He got tired of living the lifestyle of being a guard and freed Runaway, escaping with him. He then deserted them and took a ship, landing on the Moon. He was in stasis for the duration of this time, he later found out of "transition mode" technology from the ship's computer, using it and he crashed on Earth. He crashed in Europe, meeting Cliffjumper, then traveling back to North America, in the USA (where the Autobots' base is) and found the desert (The desert is similar to Death Valley, but there is more civilization at the end, but in the desert, there's bombed-out houses similar to those in Afghanistan.) He then actually met Jazzimus, surprised at how he changed. It was stated that he and Flashbee chased down Blackarachida, and won.
