The Elway Theorem was a proposal for adaptive transport or folded-space transport from a scientist named Elway, a new method of transportation utilizing inter-dimensional shifting. It was abandoned, however, in the mid-23rd century, when it was discovered that utilizing such transportation would result in cumulative damage as every jump would slightly warp the DNA and affect the cell chemistry of anyone using such technology.
