| - Amy and Tekno are keeping themselves busy fending off a Badnik attack, but are surprised to find one victim merely watching the Badniks with his binoculars. The nerd is almost killed, but is saved by Tekno, testing her new weapon. Oddly enough, he is not happy, enraged that Tekno has destroyed 'a prime example of precision engineering'. He introduces himself as Norris Wimple, president and only member of the Badnik Spotters Club, who makes up Badnik serial numbers so he can tick them off. He rushes off, leaving the bemused girls to write him off as a nutter. Later that night, Norris turns up atop a hill in his home-made Sonic costume, hoping to lure out more Badniks. Just as a passing Amy and Tekno remark that no Badnik would be stupid enough to mistake Norris for Sonic, a passing Flyzipper (a mark 2 model with twizzled sprockets, no less) grabs him and starts heading back to Flickies' Island. While Norris is initially honoured, he quickly turns scared, but Amy shoots the Badnik down, and Tekno quickly catches him. The next day, Norris announces that he's decided Badnik-spotting is not the hobby for him and has instead decided to follow in the footsteps of sportsmen. Norris is not the athletic type however: What his statement really means is measuring the footprints of football players, which only serves to confuse the girls.
