While in the locker room sifting through her locker, another employee, Mark Bell, played a prank on her by pretending to shoot her with a shotgun and startling her. Kay stared grimly at Mark before telling him to destroy the zombie's brains, which he countered by saying she didn't have one. Before the fight could escalate, Will told Mark that his shift had ended and he could leave the store. Kay offered to help him, but Will said he had things under control and was about to take inventory.
