Jerome Mpete (born 27 October 1974) is a Southern African diplomat and the current SAC Ambassador to the United Nations. Mpete, prior to being appointed by the Confederate government, was a veteran diplomat of the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation. He was chosen by Kefentse Gabya to be ambassador only hours after Gabya was elected president in the August 2012 general election.
