- "The Beat" is a promotional single by LaQuaria Ghetti, and was released on April 30, 2016 to promote her EP "I Wish...". The song was co-written by Azealia Banks (who featured on a remix of Ghetti's song "Me". "The Beat" features hip hop group cItYb0yZ (Bart Simpson, JayDee, LewisLoud), and was produced by LewisLoud and Canadian house producer LNS. The song was positively reviewed but the brevity of cItYb0yZ's appearence was negatively reviewed. In mid-May 2016, Azealia Banks's name was taken off the song's credits due to Azealia's twitter controversy.
- The Beat is a map set featured in the Battlefield Hardline: Criminal Activity expansion. The map takes place in an urban east Los Angeles neighborhood controlled by a Criminal gang that is being raided by Law Enforcement. The Lowrider appears exclusively on the map.
- The Beat was a short-lived UPN drama series which premiered on March 21, 2000 and ended after only six episodes a month later on April 25. Seven additional episodes were produced although they have never aired. The series showed the day-to-day experiences of a group of police officers in the NYPD attempting to deal with day-to-day life in New York City. The series starred David Zayas (Oz), Derek Cecil, Mark Ruffalo, Poppy Montgomery, Tom Noonan and Lea DeLaria. The series was produced by many people who worked on Homicide: Life on the Street including Barry Levinson, Tom Fontana, Anya Epstein, Eric Overmyer, Irene Burns and Jim Finnerty. Many of the producers also collaborated on Oz including Barry Levinson, Tom Fontana, Irene Burns and Jim Finnerty. It shared several cast and crew members
