  • We might have all seen the Planet of the Lost movies. We might have even watched Time Fractures, Two Worlds or Torchwood Gielinor. What do they all have in common? That's simple, they are based on RuneScape. In celebration of this, we, Jagex, shall upgrade the whole game over the following year, each month with a new "overhaul". We will upgrade it to fit the continuity of what fans have dubbed the "Runiverse". This means new quests (to actually watch or even take part in the events of the movies and TV shows), new weapons, new armours, new NPCs, new monsters and new locations. Features of the new "world" are listed below. * Time goes quicker everytime you complete one of the new "quests" to fit within the Timeline. * You can play through the Planet of the Lost movies, and play through the episodes of Time Fractures, Two Worlds and Torchwood Gielinor. * The world of Gielinor will constantly be changed every time you do a new quest. * You can get access to more futuristic technologies if you join the Gielinor Defender Group or Torchwood. As time progresses, we may update the new RuneScape again and again to fit the continuity of the Runiverse.
