She won the World Junior Championships in 1976, its inaugural year. There were 25 contestants. Brasher won the figures and long program, and placed 2nd in the short program. She was coached by Kris Sherard. , and was named Utah's sportsperson of the year in 1976. She competed through the 1977-1978 season. After retiring from competitive skating, she coached at Cottonwood Heights FSC in Salt Lake City, Utah.
