Marvin Eugene Cook (born February 24, 1966) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft. A 6'4", 234-lb. tight end from the University of Iowa, Cook played in 7 NFL seasons from 1989 to 1995 for the Patriots, the Chicago Bears, and the St. Louis Rams. He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection in 1991 and 1992. In 1991, Cook was fourth in the NFL in receptions with 83.

A 6'4", 234-lb. tight end from the University of Iowa, Cook played in 7 NFL seasons from 1989 to 1995 for the Patriots, the Chicago Bears, and the St. Louis Rams. He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection in 1991 and 1992. In 1991, Cook was fourth in the NFL in receptions with 83. He is currently the head football coach at Iowa City Regina High School in Iowa City, a school which plays football in Class 2A. In 2010, he led the team to an undefeated season and a 2A State Championship. One of Regina's 14 wins was against Class 3A's #1 Ranked team, the Solon Spartans, ending Solon's 44 game winning streak. In the 2011 Season, Marv lead the Regals to a 24-20 win over Spirit Lake giving the Regals back-to-back 2A State Championships. Marv attended high school in West Branch where his football jersey is retired and in the halls of West Branch High School. West Branch and Iowa City Regina are both in the Cedar Valley Conference.
