King Louis XVIII of France and III of New France (1810-1863) was the son of King Louis XVII et II. He succeeded his father upon the later's death in 1847, but had no male heirs, being succeeded in turn by his brother. King Louis XVIII et III was the first New-French king born after the French Revolution. He was born in Québec, but grew up in Paris after his grandfather's restoration.
