- Staggs worked on trading cards from Topps for Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith before breaking into the comic industry with DC Comics in 2012 when she was named as the primary artist on the Smallville, Season 11 series. She also worked on the various offshoots of the series during the course of its two year run. In addition to this work, she also worked on covers for two issues of IDW Publishing's Star Trek: Ongoing' series, which led to her being drafted to do the art for the title beginning with issue #41, "Behemoth, Part 1".
