Pegasus Meteor Fist(ペガサス流星拳Pegasasu Ryūsei Ken) is the main technique of the Pegasus saint. It consists in a very rapid discharge of punches in mid-short distance. Although, by far, less powerful than Pegasus Comet Fist, it has been proven to be very effective on single enemies and groups alike. At first, Seiya used to move his arms in a way he symbolized the Pegasus constellation, but later on, this was either skipped or shortened. According to Leo Aiolia, the move unleashes about 100 punches per second, much of Seiya dismay since Aiolia's Lightning Plasma hit about 1 million times per second. Due to consecutive battles and the awakening of the miraculosity, Seiya was able to enhance the move, unleashing as many "meteors" as Aiolia's "bolts".

The real (and measured) power of the technique, is quite wide and nonspecific. In most battles, his first Meteor Punch is shown weak and ineffective but due Saiya's well known faith and tenacity eventually hurts or even defeat his foes (which is a contradiction since it has been told that a technique cannot be used on the same Saint twice). The Pegasus Comet Fist is what happens when several "meteors" of the Pegasus Meteor Fist technique meet.
