A few days before Ashara died, Daka promised to take care of the child that she had given birth to, at least until the father, Chad Kolina, had come to take his daughter with him. In 80 BBY, Daka and the other Nightsisters were fighting off a group of pirates, when one of the Pirates had shot the Nightsister in the heart with a sniper. One of the Nightsisters had noticed this and took her back to the village to be buried.
