The Big-eyed opossum has the biggest eyes of all possum species. It is mostly nocturnal and is rarely seen active in daylight. It has a long chameleon-like tongue that snatches bugs crawling towards it in trees. Its leaping distance is almost as long as the sugar glider's. It only hops to trees near it, or climb down to climb up to trees far away. It is an insectivore. It lives in trees in Australia and Tasmania.
