Robert Lawrence Gladney (born August 27, 1957 in Come By Chance, Newfoundland) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman. He played in 14 NHL games for the Los Angeles Kings and Pittsburgh Penguins. He played junior hockey for the Oshawa Generals from 1974 to 1977 and was chosen 26th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft. Despite two good years with the Saginaw Gears from 1977 to 1979, Gladney was never called up to the Leafs. He was traded to the Los Angeles Kings in 1981 for Don Luce.
